Upgrade from Project Server 2003 Beta 3

Hi,

I have recently carried out upgrades on our test and live
versions of Project Server 2003, I carried out the
upgrade on our test server initially and everything went
well except -

If I created a new Issue, Risk or Document and I try to
link it to a task I receive a message saying

'There are no taskks available

Either the project has not been been published to project
Server, or you do not have the permissions to view the
tasks in Project Web Access'

Republishing did not work, I evetually got around it by
adding a new project in Project Pro and then from the
project centre selecting a task from the new plan and
selecting Link Issue. Once I had got it to do it once it
worked across all Projects!!!

The Live Server is a different Storey, I get a Internet
Explorer error, Object/module not found when I select to
Manage SharePoint Sites and the Kb 321357 does not help.

Whenever I select to view Projects in the Project Center
it redirects me immediately to the home page, saying
there are no project available.

I can see them and open them in MS Project Pro thou!!

The Projects are listed under Issues and Risks but if I
select one I get a message saying site does not exist.

It is basically a real mess, can anyone help me pick my
way through the debris or advise me on any of these
issues?

Thanks

Jim

I just ran into similar problems with grids and getting redirected to the
home page. For me it occurred because SharePoint was installed after
Project Server and certain paths were not excluded from the SharePoint
configuration.

When you run sharepoint and project server from the same default web site
you have to exclude the project server paths from sharepoint. This keeps
SharePoint from thinking that they are SharePoint sites.

The path that was causing my problem was 'MSADC'.
