Upgrade Movie Maker AVI's not dropping in ppt

Folks -

I updated my Window Movie Maker and some other codecs so
I could have MPEGs. I downloaded some video file DVI
style off a camera I often use and then failed to be able
to drop that file in ppt.

Then I tried to edit the file and save again, to no
avail. VideoMach does not pull in the original Audio so
that pathway is not helpful.

Sounds like <<Insert_movie_software_title_here>> scrambled your MCI
settings. Look within this link to find out how to fix it. It will also
tell you what happened and why.

Another possibility is that your camera uses a proprietary codec that is not
installed on your system. Do you know which codec your camera uses?
