Ehm, I believe that is even impossible... Are you sure the mst-file gets
applied? Do you also mark it to remove all previous versions?

Hi.

We are deploying Office 2003, and currently have Office 2000 deployed.
When
Office 2000 was deployed, it was deployed to C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\off2000. Now when we upgrade, Office 2003 is installed to the
same
folder. I want Office 2003 installed to c:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office.

How can this be done? If we must uninstall office 2000, what is the
best
method. I have tried the Office2Keraser program, however this does not
work,
as it is only for cleaning up the remnants.

Thanks.

Yes the MST file is been applied, and it is configured to remove all previous
versions of products, however there is no specific configuration to totally
remove Office 2000. Since it is an upgrade procedure, Office 2003 assumes to
install to the old folder.

Thanks.

You're deploying a volume licensed copy of Office, right? Then you are not
performing an upgrade as the product doesn't even look at previously
installed products to validate the upgrade. Can you get it to work when you
do it manually?

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

-----
"(e-mail address removed)"
Yes the MST file is been applied, and it is configured to remove all
previous
versions of products, however there is no specific configuration to
totally
remove Office 2000. Since it is an upgrade procedure, Office 2003 assumes
to
install to the old folder.

Any more idea's

Ehm, I believe that is even impossible... Are you sure the mst-file gets
applied? Do you also mark it to remove all previous versions?

I have used the CIW and created an MST file with the install location
pointing to c:\program files\Microsoft Office. Even with this setting,
it
still get's installed to c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Off2000.

Any other idea's

Thanks.
