Upgrade Office 2003 Basic to Pro Volume Licensing over GP

S

SRichard

Hello,

All 300 of our computers have either Office 2003 Pro w/ BCM or Office 2003
Basic installed manually/ghosted. We just finished up on migrating from NT to
AD 2003 network and would like to use the GPM tool to deploy our Offfice 2003
Pro Volume Licensing. I have been busting my brains trying to figure out how
to either uninstall or upgrade those versions to VL and have not found
anything.

Well...I don't know the answer, but I type:

"office 2003" "deploy" "volume licensing" site:microsoft.com

into Google and there are several article on the MS site that seem to
tell you how to handle this. Here are a few...

Creating an Administrative Installation Point

And then there's TechNet that provides whole white papers and manuals
on the process from their online library. Give it a search. Here's one
to get you in there...

Good luck...
