Upgrade Office Student & Teacher 2003 using UPGRADE Office Pro 200

Have MS Office Student 2003 and tried to use UPGRADE Office Pro 2007 but it
comes up with error: 1406 setup cannot write the value to the registry key.
SketchObj.SketchInk. Verify you have persmission to access registry or
contact Microsoft. Can I upgrade using Upgrade Office Pro 2007 from MS Office
Student 2003, what can I do to fix it. Your help would be really appreciated.

You need to do your installation while logged on with Administration
privileges.

Hi Bob, I am the administrator. Ended up checking on MS error page to look at
fix and changed the Registry to Everyone. Had a few hiccups but eventually
got it to go. So works OK. Thanks

If you are using Vista, then "an" administrator is NOT the same as THE
Administrator.

Humm, interesting that it wasn't Everyone already. Operating system you
are using?

Will remember next time if I place a post again to put ALL details. Am using
VISTA. But MS Office Pro working fine now so that is all I am concerned

know it is slightly different.
