We currently have a standalone machine running Project Server 2003, Windows
Sharepoint Services 2.0 and SQL Server 2000.

I have installed MOSS 2007 (with SQL 2005 on separate server) and would like
to migrate the existing Project data to the new MOSS 2007 server with
Project Server 2007.

My goal is to move to the new platform and free up the old server to be
deployed in another capacity. What is the best way to handle this?

Thanks.

Hi Jeff,
You'll need to get Project Server 2007 installed and working. Then, you'll
need to use the p12migrationtool.exe (installed as an option the project
client install) to migrate the date from the P2003 solution to P2007
databases. Note this only migrates the project data and not WSS data. For
WSS data you use the stsadm.exe command.

There is a migration guide at
http://technet2.microsoft.com/Offic...ae21-42d4-a48c-6e2de4284c561033.mspx?mfr=true which covers off everything in detail.
