Upgrade Question

I purchased Visio 5.0 from Visio Corporation before
Microsoft bought them. I registered it, but I cannot
find the original CD; and I have since upgraded my
computer.

Can I purchase the Visio 2002 Upgrade and install it on a
computer that has never had Visio on it?

The upgrade requires a previously installed version or proof of purchase
(product serial number). Since you did register your copy, you can obtain
your serial number by contacting Microsoft and explaining the situation.
