Upgrade SP2 -> Strange behavior

A

amluz

We upgraded the Project server integration environment to SP2.
Error: Failed to upgrade SharePoint Products and Technologies.
An exception of type
Microsoft.SharePoint.PostSetupConfiguration.PostSetupConfigurationTaskException was thrown.

In application eventviewer there was this error:
Could not find stored procedure: MSP_TimesheetQ_Read_Control_Message

If we look into the published database, a lot of stored procedures
disappeared.
(all stored procedures who start with: MSP_TimesheetQ, MSP_Dal and several
others)
We had a backup of the databases from before the upgrade, and the stored
procedures where there. So we restored all the databases and retried, but
still no luck.

What did we do wrong?
Has someone else had this problem?

Thanks in advance
Amluz

Hi Amluz,

I'm facing the same problem while upgrading project server sp1 to sp2.
Did you find a solution to the problem in the meantime?

On the other hand, did you notice that despite the error messages you can
still work with the product, though I'm not sure I would recommend that.
By the way, do you use any form of timereporting in Project Server?

Regards,
Rudolf
