I am a registered user of Office 2003 and purchased an upgrade to Office 2007
from Amazon. While waiting for the Office 2007 upgrade I downloaded the
Office 2007 trial thinking that I could easily convert to my licensed version
after receiving the upgrade.
The trial was activated by me with the activision code received from
Microsoft.
I have received my upgrade and attempted to convert the trial to the
registered version.
The trial wizard asks for a 25 digit product key and I can't find anything
that resembles the 25 digit coode on my upgrade software.
It appears to me that I may need to uninstall the trial first and then
install the upgrade. Is this correct?
I also assume that the upgrade will ask me for the key that is on the
outside of the upgrade package.
Anyone with a similar experience?
Are my assumptions correct?
