I have Windows/XP and was running with Office/XP with
Frontpage. I just installed the new Office Pro 2003 and
everything seems to have installed correctly. I got the
activation screen the first time I tried to use the
package and then registered.
When I tried to check for updates I received an error
stating that my old version was not valid? It was, but it
was a corporate version of Office/XP with Frontpage.
Now whenever I try to open Outlook, I get the "preparing
to install" dialog box and if I don't have the Office/XP
CD in a drive, it asks for it. If I have the CD in the
drive, it runs for a bit and then the program opens fine.
If I try to go to my INBOX, I get the "preparing to
install" dialog box again and this happens for EVERY mail
message in my inbox?
Does anyone know what is happening here and how I might
fix this?
Thanks in advance for your help.
