upgrade to Office2k3

Is there any problem with having some users on my network using office 2k3
and other using 2k? We are not heavy into the functionality of office.

Is there any issues with some users using Outlook 2k and others 2k3? Is 2k3
backward compatible? Will 2k3 have any issues with Exchange 5.5?

Office file formats haven't changed for several releases.
There should be no problems. As for the Exchange, I can't
answer.
