upgrade to Outlook 2007 with Outlook Connector

I have been using Outlook 2002 with Outlook connector on one of my computers
so that i can get email from several (paid) hotmail and Office Live accounts
in one place... today I decided to upgrade 2002 to 2007 because as a
registered user of Outlook Live I qualified for the free upgrade... I
installed Outlook 2007 and it seemed to go fine, but when i started the new
version of Outlook it hung up at transferring account settings and i had to
"end Program" to get out of the hang... i never could get it to go past this
point.... i tried uninstalling Outlook Connector and lo and behold all my
data came up... but I could not open any email folders... so I reinstalled
Outlook connector from the microsoft website and now when i open Outlook it
hangs at "databinding" for forever... i have tried a couple of the fixes
mentioned in the Outlook upgrading threads to help with "slow performance"
and i renamed a file that they said to rename (only one of the 4 files for
renaming were present) but i am not getting anywhere!... at this point i
would gladly recreate all my email accounts in Outlook, but i can't get it to
open and run with Connector installed and as far as it gets there is no
Outlook Connector menu on the toolbar... any help would be appreciated!
