what are the switches used to upgrade office 2000 to office xp and do I need
office xp resource

Hi Jacob,

It depends on how you're doing the upgrade. If you're using a volume license key and creating an Office Admin Point as the location
you will be deploying from then the information in the Office XP Resource Kit at http://microsoft.com/office/ork may be helpful to
you and you can use the Custom Installation Wizard to prepare for a deployment.

If you're doing a standalone upgrade running the Office XP Setup program and then choose the 'custom' installation will give you
the opportunity to select which of the Office 2000 apps to retain (of the ones that are of newer version in Office XP). If you're
using a retail Office product the Resource Kit options aren't available.
