Upgraded from 98 to XP

I recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 98 to Windows XP Home version.
Now, none of my Office stuff even shows up. I've lost Power Point, Excel,
and Word. When I run a virus scan, I see them in there, but how do I access
them now?

Repair the Office installation, using the office cd?
This assumes you actually upgraded the 98 installation and didnt create a
seperate winxp installation.
PS You visited your laptop manu site, and downloaded winxp hw drivers
specific to your sys?
