Upgrades to 2004 Pro

I want to upgrade to 2004 pro form v.x standard. How do I
do this and what is the cost.

You can see the MS pre-order page, which will not give you any prices
or upgrade paths, but will give you links to online stores where you
can pre-order Office 2004, along with their prices and paths.

From what I can see, there is not an upgrade path that would do what you want.

I would suggest keeping an eye on the upgrade paths and see if they add any.

That's because Pro 2004 (i.e. with VPC 7) is not ready yet. I would have
thought that there would be some sort of "Upgrade to Standard Now, Update
Again to Pro later" but perhaps your options are just to wait, or to upgrade
to Standard now, then upgrade to standalone VPC 7 when it comes out (which
might be later than Pro 2004). Or perhaps there will be an upgrade price
from 2004 Standard to 2004 Pro when it comes out - no announcement yet, it
seems.

Yes, there is: if you follow the "MacConnection" ($289.95), MacZone
($289.97) or MacMall ($294.99) links. It's just on the appleStore you can't
find it...

There sure is!

If they stick to the same upgrade schemes as Office 2001, you will be
able to upgade to the pro version. You can find 2001 upgrade
requirements for the pro upgrade here:
