Upgrades

I am currently running Access 2002 (10.4302.4219) SP2. Is there an upgrade I
can down load. I'm very happy with what I have but feel maybe I'm missing
something from a newer version.

Check Microsoft's Web site. How much you have to pay for an upgrade
depends on what kind of pricing plan you're on. Microsoft gives special
deals to certain classes of customers. (But you're not likely to be a
member of the class that gets stuff free of charge.) You can get some
free-of-charge downloads that you can use with your current version,
stuff like calendars, that may make you even happier with what you have
now -- your current program is certainly not a hunk of junk.

There are some new features. One that I like that's in Access 2003 (I'm
not sure about 2002) is the ability to display a list of references to
objects such as Tables. It can't find them all, but it can be helpful
if you need to revise your database design. Whether the new features of
various types that the new Office gives you are worth the money, you'll
need to decide. The Web site will give you at least an overview of
what's available; see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx .
