Upgrading from 2003 to 2007 but keeping outlook 2003

I currently have MS Office 2003 and want to upgrade to the Home Student 2007
version. As it does not have outlook or access on it, can I uninstall all
programs but outlook and access. Then install Home Student 2007. So I then
can still have the use of all the programs?

You start the 2007 installation and select upgrade, it will leave all
components not included in your version of 2007
OL2003 will not be able to use Word as the email editor
