I just got a new laptop and the new software is Access 2003. My main database
was designed and built using Access 2002 SP3. When I open the database on my
new laptop, I get a "security warning... unsafe expressions are not
blocked"... then I get another warning "This file may contain code that was
intended to harm your computer... do you want to open this file or cancel?"
Am I going to run into problems using Access 2003? I am in the process of
starting to upgrade other computers in my office, but right now there are
still people utilizing the same database that have Access 2002 SP3... am I
going to have problems with different versions, should I reinstall 2002 on my
computer?
If it is ok to run both versions, how do I get around the security warnings
and not have to deal with them everytime I launch Access?
Thanks, m.
