Upgrading from Office Pro 2000 Educational Version

Richard

I have had MS Office 2000 Professional - Educational Edition since college
and I was wondering if I can upgrade to Office 2003 or if I have to purchase
a new Full Version.

The academic version should be fine for the upgrade. The newer Office XP
and 2003 Students and Teachers editions are not usable for upgrades. The
only difference between your academic version and a retail version is that
it is only sold in educational institutions to qualified students.

Thank you very much for your responses.

I have purchased educational software in the past wasn't allowed to upgrade,
it's refreshing to know that MS will allow you to do that.

Richard,
We have used the Office Pro Academic version as a base for upgrades to XP
and 2003.
