Upgrading MS Basic to Small Business

Hi,

I have MS Office 2002 Basic, and want to upgrade to MS Office 2007 small
business. Can I do this by purchasing the small business upgrade software
package, eventhough I do not currently have MS Publisher & MS Accounting
Express? Will these new programs work under the new upgrade?

Yes, Microsoft now allows (and has for some time) the upgrade that you want
to do. You will be able to install all the programs in '07 SB even though
you don't have them in the '02 version of Office.

Just remember to keep the 2002 disk (I tape the old CD case with the CD in
it to the upgrade version case) in case you ever have a drive crash or need
to reinstall the '07 version. You will need the '02 version as the upgrade
qualifier.
