Upgrading Office 95 to Office XP on Win98

Hello,

On my mother's old Windows 98 system, Office 95 (=Office 7) is
installed. I want to upgrade that to Office XP.

I tried uninstalling Office 95 and it asked me for the orginal Office
95 CD. I no longer have that.

Can I go ahead and install Office XP anyway? Will the two versions co-
exist?

All help appreciated.

OfficeXp 'should' offer to upgrade, remove old installation
Leastways it will if it recognises O95
