Please help me! I need to upgrade a computer from Office 2003 to Vista
(Upgrade) to Office 2007 (Upgrade).. but I need to keep an operating copy of
Word 2003 and 2007.

Please help guide me through this.

(Should I install Vista Upgrade first or Office Upgrade?)

Thank you.

upgrade the OS first...if you have the Upgrade version, you legally have no
right to use both versions at the same time.

EXCELLENT POINT!! Never thought of that. Let me muddy the waters a bit
..... if I bought a separate copy of Word 2007, could I THEN install Word
21007 w/o affecting Word 2003? Or, if I return the Office upgrade and bought
a new Office package, could I install THAT and leave the Word 2003???

Thank you so much for your reply; it was VERY helpful!

hmmm..if you bought a separate retail copy, then it'd follow like this

Install Office 2003
Install Word 2007, check the box to leave the previous version
install Office 2007, and choose not to install Word.
