Hi Franc,
You can purchase just the Access 2003 upgrade, using MS Works as the upgrade qualifier or the MS Office 2003 Professional Edition
upgrade package or the MS OFfice 2006 Small Business Management Edition upgrade (which is MS Office 2003 Profesional + MS Office
Small Business Accounting 2006). These include MS Office Access 2003.
You'll find more details on these choices at
http://microsoft.com/office/howtobuy
There is also information and both online test drives and tutorials of the upcoming MS Office 2007 product at
http://microsoft.com/office/preview
As far as migrating MS Works database to MS Access, you may want to use the link below to post to the MS Office Access newsgroup on
recommended methods and limitations (i.e. moving the data over can be done, but you would likely need to recreate your forms and
reports.
==========
Is it possible to upgrade the MS Works database program to Access 2003?
Are there different upgrade CD's for each program within Office? ie. Is
there one CD called upgrade to Office 2003, and you choose which parts you
want, or is it application by application?>>
