Upgrading to Access 97

I currently have Access 2.00 installed on my computer, but need to upgrade to
Access 97 for a college class. Will an Access 97 upgrade purchased off
e-bay do this or do I have to purchase the whole program? I am running
Windows XP.

I think Access 2.0 qualified for the Access 97 upgrade version, but I'm
afraid I don't know for certain.
