Upgrading to Office 2007 Standard from Office 2003 Student/Teacher

I'm currently running MS Office 2003 Student/Teacher Edition. I'm scoping out
the MS Office 2007 Standard Upgrade package so I can prepare for Microsoft's
MCAS certification exams. (I want to go for MCAS certs as opposed to MOS.)

My question is: Will the 2007 Standard upgrade package work off the 2003
Student/Teacher package? Or are Student/Teacher packages not eligible to be
upgraded? I noticed that Office XP Student/Teacher is specifically named as
not eligible, so I'm wondering if that restriction might apply to other
Student/Teacher versions as well. I definitely don't want to spend money on
an upgrade package I can't use.

(I don't want 2007 Student/Teacher. It's missing Outlook 2007, which I need
to learn how to use. That's why I'm looking at 2007 Standard.)
