Upgrading to Office 2007

I have Office 2000 Professional. I would like to get Office 2007 Standard
Upgrade as I just really need Word and Outlook.

Do I have to install Office 2000 and then run the upgrade? Or can I do what
you can do with previous versions...run the Office 2007 upgrade and have it
ask for the older one for verification only.?
