UpGrading to Office Busines.

I need some help, I looked in the forum but didn't see anything there that
can assist me. I have Windows XP and Office Professional 2003. I am
starting a new business and a friend recommends using Office Small Business
2003. I have looked in the files that come with the Small Business on the
website. I have everything there that comes with OSB2003 with my version of
OP2003, I use a great deal of the programs but I don't have the Business
Contact Manager or the Templates I could utilize for a small business. Do I
have to pay the 279 upgrade price for OSB or is there a way that I can just
get the Small Business Parts that I need Being that I have OB2003 Already.
Any help would be greatful.

Thanks,
Joey.

You cannot upgrade/downgrade between products of the same line (as you would
have known had you bothered to search) - besides why would you want to? You
have all the applications that you need - just learn how to utilise them -
you don't need the SBT.

Hi Joey,

Congratulations on your new business :)

MS Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager
http://microsoft.com/office/outlook/contactmanager/prodinfo/
is part of the MS Office 2003 Professional Edition
as well as the MS Office 2003 Small Business Edition
http://microsoft.com/office/editions/howtobuy/compare.mspx

The Business Contact Manager is an optional install and
appears as a menu choice in MS Outlook 2003 rather than
as a standalone app.

If you're referring to templates other than those that
are a part of the Business Contact Manager (BCM) you
may want to visit http://office.microsoft.com/templates

Bob, Thank you for your help, I tried looking for BCM, I opened the cd
files and also did a search I dont have it..... Let me go into a little
more detail on this. I burn all my original programs and use them and keep
the originals in a safe place. Thanks to "BROWN" (Pending Case), I no
longer have the original CD. These things happen when you move 2800 miles.

You said that BCM is not a standalone program, and that it is incorporated
in with office. The file folders that I have on this CD has FrontPage,
OneNote and Office programs. I did a complete installation on all of them,
NOT a typical installation. I looked and opened Office and selected start up
and add/remove features, just in case it was hidden, and its not available
for me to install. I have looked in the other two programs and BCM is not in
any of them either.

I dont know what else to do. Any suggestions Bob?

Thanks, Joey.

My copy of Office 2003 Professional included two CDs. The second CD is
labeled: Business Contact Manager.
In Outlook 2003 Office Assistant enter: Business Contact Manager. In the
search results select the article on installing Business Contact Manager
using the setup program on the Business Contact Manager CD.

If you do not have the Business Contact Manager CD, you may be able to
obtain a replacement from:
