I have frontpage 98, how do I upgrade to 2000. Do I need to buy Frontpage 2000 or can I buy just the upgrade ?

If you can even find FrontPage 2000, the upgrade is fine. But you'll be
buying a product three versions old ... there's been 2002 (XP) and now 2003.

The upgrade page at
http://www.microsoft.com/office/frontpage/howtobuy/default.mspx#XSLTsection127121120120
indicates you qualify for the upgrade for the 2003 version as well.

For any upgrade you'll need your original FrontPage 98 CD.

Kat,

Since 2K is an older version, you might try looking around
Ebay.

Yes, if you can find one, there is an upgrade .

I suggest FP 2002 rather than 2000. or 2003 if you use Windows 2000 or XP.

FP2000 is still an excellent version of FP. I continue to use it for all
development.

Unless the a user needs really plans to use new features of FP2002 or
FP2003, then FP2000 is a still a excellent HTML application for web
development.
