You can purchase an upgrade edition of a Microsoft Office 2003 suite.

If you have already acquired non-OEM Office 2003 software then backing up your files, in case there is a problem, is a safe thing to
do. Whether you uninstall the old product and doing a PC restart before installing the new version can be a matter of personal
choice. The installer in Office 2003 is supposed to clean up the old. In the upgrade over old 'auto' scenario, you may save some
possible problems by checking that your current installation is working well by using a Repair/Reinstall of Office XP first, from
the Windows control panel.
