Upgrating PWA 2003 to PWA 2007: best practice?

Hi All,

I have to upgrade EPM 2003 to EPM 2007...

before I have to Upgarade SQL 2000 to SQL 2005...

which is the best practice??

1) upgarde SQL from 2000 to 2005 (and in this case the EPM 2003 will
again see the data???????)

2) upgarde the EPM from 2003 to 2007...

Hi Vit,

I am not sure what your exect scenario is. Is it upgrade to SQL 2000 or
ugrade of PS2003 with the option of upgrading the PS databases to SQL 2005?

I think you can do it in one go, as the upgrade is a migration process:

install Sql2005 (preferably on same machine as your sql 2000 is now)
install project server 2007 using the SQL2005
migrate 2003 to 2007 (migration utility)

now you have PS2007 and sql2005 to work on and PS2003 with sql2000 can be
phased out.
