Uploading document success but not updated in MS Project Server DB

Hi

I'm trying to upload a document to the Project Server 2003. When clicking "Save and Close" the following error appears in a dialog: "Project Server failed to update the links in the Project Server database. Please try again later or Contact your Administrator" ... Please correct me if I'm wrong, I think this a problem in the Windows SharePoint Services configurations

Please, I need the answer to URGENT!!

Amjad,

did you create the project schedule using Project Server
by connecting to the database or did you create it using
Project and are now trying to save it to Project Server?

If it was the later, you must "import" the project
instead of "saving" it in Project Server.

Thank you for the information on how to publish a project.

But Skoe,

When you open the Project Web Access 2003 and logged in (Preferred As an Admin). On the top upper menu, Click Documents. You will find a document Library created by default with the name "Shared Document". Click on this link, you will enter the Document Library. Inside, Click upload document or new Document. When you finish uploading or creating a document, the Error message "Project Server failed to update the links in the Project Server database. Please try again
later or Contact your Administrator" appears. How can I resolve the problem.

I had a similar problem last week, where documents weren't being uploaded. My issue was with WSS... I was able to resolve my problem by doing the following

Run the PSComPlus utility located at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Project Server 2003\BIN\1033\. Clear the checkbox for the OLAP update, enter the username and password for the SharePoint Services Administrator account and select the Create/Update COM+ Apps button

It is actually uploaded Kevin and every thing is fine. But, this message still appearing once I upload. This message has no bad effect until now but I want to know why this message still appearing??? There must be an error!!

the error message and how to get rid of it. :)
