uploading pages

I have used Publisher 2000 and just now switched to
2002. When I upload my pages, they do not have my
original page name on them. They are numbered 1-12. If
I do not give them the same name, when someone looks for
me under "Google" and clicks on one of my links, it comes
up as page not found. How do I change the name of my
page?

basically you would open up Notepad and copy/paste the code I give you,
then save the file with the name of your old web page. In Notepad change
file type to all files so you don't add the txt extension on the end of your
file name (yourpage.html)
change the code to have the url of your new page.
to make the redirection as seamless as possible change the content number to
zero.

fyi, I got them (literally) to bring it back with version 2003 (see
http://www.barvin.com/webform1.aspx ),
all though it is conditional.

I have read your article on the differences between Publisher 2000 and 2002.
I am furious about the difference where I am not alloud to rename my
pages. Here is my situation, hopefully you can help:
I already have my website listed under Google/Yahoo, etc. I have VERY great
placements and am afraid if I redo my pages, I will have to start all over
to get my rankings. Is there anyway to redirect my old pages to my new
pages?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Hilary Lockhart
