uploading quirk

Using FP 2003. Uploading via the Publish Site feature. In the publish site
window, on the left side are my pages. On the right side is the remote
server and my pages which have been uploaded there. They all match. After I
have worked on some pages and saved them, the left window indicates with an
arrow those pages that need to be uploaded to the server side as they are
now changed. However, and here's the quirk, there are several pages on the
left that show the arrow and say "unmatched" almost daily even though I have
not touched those pages. There are also some images, only a few, that have
the same issue. They have not been touched, nor the pages on which they
reside have been touched, yet they too have an arrow indicating unmatched.
Why?? What's going on here? Thanks in advance. Ken

When I finished my site, I wondered about the same. I just leave it as
is. My guess is it has something to do with pages that you do visit,
that may have links to those that appear with the arrows (that you
haven't touched).

I, too, would like to know.
