Uploading web pages to the internet

Ok, this question has probably been asked a hundred times on this board, but
I am attempting to save a page cretaed in publisher to the web. When I go to
save the page, the screen states that it is saving as a filtered html page.
Once I save it, I preview the page in IE. All of the images are gone, the
background is changed... How can I save the pages without filtering the html?
I have tried many different things, and have pretty much exhausted my
resources.
