uploading without frontpage upload component

Hello, I currently am using a host that supports fp extensions but does not allow the upload feature. How else can I get a user to upload a file if I can't use the upload feature. Thanks for any help.

You have to see what the web host offers or is willing to install. If they don't have anything or
are not willing, then you will have to find another web host.

A 3rd party uploader script - but if your host doesn't allow the frontpage upload
compoent, chances are that restriction would also apply to ANY script performing
the same function, i.e. uploading files to the server.

The host might allow it, but restrict the type of file i.e. plain ascii text or
perhaps images - jpegs and gifs, but not much else.
