upper and lower indexes

I need a letter (math) to have both upper and lower
indexes. How can I do that, I can make it have the
other but not both as the other goes to far ahead.

Hi Johannes,

I'm not sure what you want, but a range of math symbols can be produced with
an EQ field. See under 'EQ' in Word's help file.
