Hello,

I have set up the Project Web Access (PWA) and it works fine. I can create a
new project and teh associated webpage and the links with MS project work
fine. My problem is getting this working outside our network and via the
internet. In IIs I assigned set it up so I should see it but its not working.

I have tried teh following links without sucess

www.ipicprojectoffice.com - takes me to MS live search

www.ipicprojectoffice.com/default.aspx - page not found

www.ipicprojectoffice.com/PWA - Internet Explorer cannot display page

www.ipicprojectoffice.com/PWA/default.asp - The following files have been
blocked by the administrator - default.asp

www.ipicprojectoffice.com/PWA/default.aspx - the Sharepoint error page. You
know the one that says An unexpected error occured.

The funny thing is I can access the following url without problem

www.ipicprojectoffice.com/PWA/Geronimo/defaul.aspx - This was a project I
created from the PWA.

This is urgent so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm going out on a limb, but I'll guess that it might be an alternate
access mappings issue. On the server, take a look under Operations in
SharePoint Central Administration and make sure that you have the
appropriate URLs defined in "Alternate Access Mappings"

Hi,
I have problem with publishing PWA on Internet.
On LAN, we access on server at: http://projectserver/pwa
Now, I want to publish PWA through Internet like:
http://pro.mycompany.com/pwa and I followed:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc197516.aspx but not successful.
It prompted username, password but after submitted, it didn't display PWA.
If we do it on LAN, after fill username, password and submit, it returns to
http://projectserver/pwa, not http://pro/mycompany.com/pwa

Thanks and best regards,

Hi,
I had the user pass problem, we solved it removing the authentication from the listener for the publishing rule and configuring the internal mapping http://projects.company.com in default zone.

Finally the page appeared, but some problems too.. like we can't see lookup tables (I mean in pages were you need to select one item form the list), we can't export timesheets to excel or recall aprooved timesheets. Some links redirect from http://projects.company.com/pwa to http://servername:port/pwa. The only function that works fine is timesheet webparts.

When header is condigured in the sharepoint web app, the solution works, pages appear but webpart dont..
