Urgent! Can't check-in a production project. in Limbo! (PS2007)

Hi,

I have uploaded a production plan into server. It saved fine and published
fine. I opened earlier today and all was ok, saved it again and closed it
and it all looked fine. I just updated some tasks updates and it tells me
that the file is read-write in another session so can't do anything. I've
looked at the cache and it is not listed, I've checked everywhere and it is
not opened anywhere. I also tried to force check-in the file but it is now
under "waiting to be processed". How do I fix this?
Please help!!

You will need to verify that there are no other jobs in the queue waiting to
be processed before this job. If there is another job that seems to be
stuck in the "Processing" state, you will need to first try and restart your
queue services to see if that fixes the issue. Normally this does the trick
and allows for all jobs to finish processing including your pending
"Check-in" job. If it has failed, then try to check it in again once you
have restared the queue and seen all jobs have processed.

How do I restart the queue services? Is this within the project server or
the sql server??

Pedro, you will need to do this within the Server Service:

go to Server Administrative Tools > Services. you will find a Service called
MS Office Project Server Queue ( someting like this anyway). Stop and restart
it and see if you still have the issue
