Please, somebody - I'm trying to mail merge an Excel 2000
workbook (simplified to necessary info only) into Word
2000 to create mailing labels for a newsletter that has
to go out today. There are just under 3500 records. When
I try to open the data source (Excel), I get an error
message saying "Word could not re-establish a DDE
connection to Microsoft Excel to complete the current
task." I've triple-checked the tool option to allow DDE,
I've checked the Word application for errors and
restarted the computer, I've checked everywhere else I
can find on the web help site. The only place I can find
that message so far is in relation to Access.
What else can I do to make this mail merge happen? I'm
even giving you my real e-mail address for speed...
