Urgent Formula help needed please

Hi Tia

One way would be to paste the following formula in cell C13 and then
copy across to the next 3 cells

=IF(C12=MIN($C$12:$F$12),C5,"")

Hi,
That message of 21-10-2003 01:06AM does not show on my OE screen,
however if I go 'Find', author 'Biggles' it comes up. I've had this before
both with my own and other peoples posts, I don't know why it happens. This
is probably the reason for Tim's post, he couldn't see it either,
Regards,
Alan.

No reason for the snied remark, you are the one who made the error, not I.
Besides, you started another post when you already had this one going.
Another NG no-no...

With an incorrect clock almost anything can happen. For instance
I reject such postings with a Message Rule in OE, so I would never
and did not see the original question, as I think Alan also did not see it.

The statement of changing the clock four minutes later is either
ambiguous or meaningless to us if the times were wrong. Hopefully
threads are in order by what they reference, but what we see is the time.

In C13 enter the formula =IF(C12=MIN($C$12:$F$12),C5,""). Copy C13 to
D13:F13.

Biggles Flies Undone !

I have 4 columns starting at C5 toF5 and at the bottom of each of the
columns, C12 to F12 ,are the summed totals of the numbers in the columns
Below these totals i have 2 more rows for which i need formulas.
1 row needs to look at the totals and whichever column has the lowest number
return the column text label.

So if it turned out that D12 had the lowest number, in D13 it would return
the text label from D5 which in this case is "Home Study" and the row below
would be looking for the maximum and return that columns text label

I'm sure this is easy for most of you, but as i am pretty new to this , its
giving me a hard time, so any help greatly appreciated.

Many TIA
