You can only reset the password if you know the password. Looks like you
need some software.

One thing I noted by accident ( on one occasion) was if you re-install
access the workgroup information file reverts to the default, and thus you
can gain entry to the previously locked database. You then need to reset
the security levels and passwords.

That will only work if security wasn't properly applied in the first place.
When security has been applied correctly, you cannot get in without the
appropriate workgroup info file (.MDW)
