URGENT--Slide Show not working

Hi! Everyone
This is very urgent
I was debugging my code on my system and i do not know what settings got
disturbed but i am now unable to run the slideshow
As soon as i click the slideshow button. it flickers for a second and then
comes back to the normal mode
What can be the error.
I was using Office XP. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling
I have also tried to install off 2000 and that does not work either
Pls help asap

Have you tried F5 or View > Slide Show? Do other presentations open in Slide
Show mode, or is just one presentation that has the problem?

No Presentation opens I have also tried creating a new presentation.
I have also tried Rehearse timings, set custom show, F5
everything even record narration
The result is the same
a flicker iand its back

I wonder if some sort of registry setting got mucked up. How about the
Office remover?

Completely uninstall Office - Office Erasers / Registry Cleaners

Do not know what the error was but as Glenn mentioned removing the office
and then running a regcleaner and rebooting the system and then reinstalling
did the error
