I have a list of prices that is copied from a template onto all tabs in a workbook so any amendments to the template can be carried across to each tab (by grouping the tabs). As there are numerous different workbooks all with the same list I want to have a master that can be changed and carries across the changes on all workbooks without having to deal with workbooks individually and group and ungroup each time. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you have a master workbook with the prices you can have them all reference that one workbook.
Under the data menu click existing connections and then browse to the excel workbook with the master list of prices. You can have it load the data into one sheet in the second workbook and then refresh it as needed.
Hope this helps
