I thought as much - thought I was missing something - thanks. I find it odd
I can use animations in Word, but not publisher

You can place animated gifs in Publisher, they simply won't animate. They won't
animate in Word either unless you convert the document to a web page.

Actually - you can use animated text in word. I just hate using powerpoint
in order to use animated clip art. Oh well onward
