Use grouping to display one latest record in results

I've seen the response before, but can't find it, so here
we go again. I have a results page that returns records
from different projects entered weekly. This is too large
to view, so I would like to return only the different
project names. Then I could click the project name and
see the weekly records.

I've heard of using the group feature, but no luck with
finding the post.

Any help will be appreciated
