use if function if field is highlighted in colour in excel

Hi everyone,
I am trying to add the numbers in fields that are highlighted in a specific
colour. I believe this is done with the IF function, can someone assist in
showing me how to put the formula together as an example.

No. Using formulas against color is not possible unless you use VBA.
