Use Powerpoint for a conference call?

Is it possible to e-mail a powerpoint slide show to serveral indivuduals for
use during a conference call but have the ability to command the attendees
powerpoint (ie- the speed at which the slides change )

Not really.

You need webconferencing service -- WebEx, LiveMeeting, Communicast, etc.
That may be overkill for what you want, though.

If everyone uses MSNMessenger, you could use Application Sharing (on the
Tools menu) for an "on the cheap" solution.
