Use source format on paste by default

Hi,
There's a feature of Powerpoint 2002 that's driving me crazy.

Basically what I want is for the stuff I paste to be identical to what I
copied onto the clipboard, and to be in the identical place on the new slide
that it was on the old slide. For some reason Microsoft defaults to some
other formatting, and I have to explicitly tell Powerpoint to "Use Source
Formatting" on every paste. What a pain.

I tried looking in the Options dialogue, but nothing I change seems to help
(I tried clearing the "smart cut and paste, whatever that does, but with no
luck).

Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Geoff

Hi Echo, Steve,
Thanks for looking. Shame about the feature :)

Unfortunately, there's no way to change the default behavior of the paste tags.
