Used copy of MS Office XP Special Edition

R

Robert Hagler

I purchased a used copy of Office XP Professional Special
Edition. I have the original CDs with product keys. I
also have a signed letter from the original owner stating
he is transferring the license and no longer has the
software installed on his computer. What will happen when
I try to install on my PC? Thanks!

Nothing will happen. If you notice, there is a notice on
the front of your disk stating not to make illegal copies
of the CD. They can't stop you from making those, and
it's a common misconception that every program is tracked
by some sort of "Big Brother" system. Go ahead and load
it without worry.
