User authentication via PSI

Hi,

We have a custom process that retrieves some projcet data via PSI..
working fine. However, this process is using windows authentication
to connect.

We would like to change this to connect using a Projcet Server ID and
PW. We created a user in the server (not in PWA). But we are getting
access errors.

What is the proper procedure to create a server account so we can use
it for PSI? We just do not what it to be the authenticated user
running the script.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you mean forms authentication to your project server?
Using applicative users?
